RESOLUTION NO. 03-05

APPROVING SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCY'S APPLICATIONS FOR FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION SECTION 5310 FUNDS

WHEREAS, under Section 5310 of the Federal Transit Act of 1991 funds are available for capital expenses to provide transportation services to meet the special needs of elderly and disabled persons; and

WHEREAS, the Shasta County Opportunity Center has requested funding for one modified van for the benefit of transportation of their disabled clients.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the application for FTA Section 5310 transit funding is consistent with the Shasta County Regional Transportation Plan, and when approved by the California Transportation Commission, the project will be included into the Federal Transportation Improvement Program.
