With this letter, I am requesting amendment of the Shasta County Regional Transportation Planning Agency 2002/03 - 2004/05 Federal Transportation Improvement Program (FTIP). The project details are shown on the attached spreadsheet. I recommend the project be included in the 2002 State Highway Operation & Protection Program (SHOPP) as a line item, specifically identified, and summarized into the Lump Sum reservation category of your FTIP. The financial impacts of this new programming are compatible with the revenues in the FTIP Financial Plan and do not significantly affect the overall evaluation.
