RESOLUTION NO. 03-08

APPROVING THE REGIONS BIKEWAY PLANS

WHEREAS, the RTPA has reviewed the City of Redding, and County of Shasta’s Bikeway Plans and finds them to be consistent with the statutory requirements of the California Streets and Highway Code; and

WHEREAS, the Redding City Council has recertified the City of Redding Bikeway Plan on September 16, 2003; and

WHEREAS, the Shasta County Board of Supervisors has recertified the Shasta County Bikeway plan on October 7, 2003; and

WHEREAS, the plan meets the required elements of Chapter 7, Section 891.2 of the California Streets and Highway Code; and

WHEREAS, both plans are consistent with the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP).

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County of Shasta and City of Redding Bikeway Plans are recertified.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of October 2003, by the Shasta County Regional Transportation Planning Agency.
