Master Fund Transfer Agreement Between Caltrans and Shasta County

RECOMMENDATION: 

It is recommended that the Board authorize the Chairman to sign the attached Master Fund Transfer Agreement (MFTA) and resolution.

 

SUMMARY:

Caltrans is proposing to amend the fund transfer agreement process that involves the reimbursement of costs and administration of funds for work elements in the Overall Work Program (OWP).

 

DISCUSSION:

Caltrans is updating the MFTA to reflect changes in State and Federal regulations and provides further clarification of requirements for using State and Federal planning funds.  The new agreement supercedes the prior agreement dated June 25, 1996.  This agreement has been reviewed by RTPA legal counsel and is recommended for approval.

 

OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:

The Technical Advisory Committee has considered this request and recommends approval to the RTPA Board.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT: 

This request will have no financial impact on the RTPA.
