Shasta County Regional Transportation Planning Agency and Caltrans District 2, along with stakeholders in the community, developed the Shasta County Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Architecture and Deployment Plan.

This document is mandated and serves as a framework where various electronics, communications, information processing systems, and hardware devices can be deployed to improve the safety and efficiency of the county's surface transportation system.
