• Regional Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP) - each odd numbered year
• Federal Transportation Improvement Program (FTIP) - each even numbered year
• Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) - Every 5 years

The RTPA is responsible for the Federal Transportation Improvement Program (FTIP) . Every two years the RTPA is required to prepare and approve a 4-year program for planned transportation projects involving federal funding.
