Grant Opportunities

The SCRTPA tracks various grants dealing with transportation, land use, sustainability, housing and other issues relevant to the region for local agencies. The following matrix provides information on grant opportunities which the SCRTPA can apply for or provide letters of support to local agencies.

• Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Competitive Grant Programs
  
• The SCRTPA administers FTA grant programs that support public transportation. Competitive grant programs are available to eligible recipients for planning, vehicle purchases, facility construction, operations and other purposes. The following are the primary FTA programs in Shasta County:
• FTA 5310 Elderly and Disabled Specialized Transit Program
  FTA 5316 Job Access and Reverse Commute
  FTA 5317 New Freedom
