Transit in Shasta County

Need a Ride? Transportation Resources in Shasta County brochure

The primary source of funding for transit
in Shasta County is through the Transportation Development ACT (TDA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) programs specifically targeted at transit. The RTPA performs annual unmet transit needs assessments to evaluate transit demand, existing transit performance, and system efficiency. The RTPA also provides supplement funds to social service transportation providers through the Consolidated Transportation Services Agency (CTSA).
