Transit Funding

The primary source of funding for transit in Shasta County is through the Transportation Development Act. The RTPA performs annual unmet transit needs assessments to evaluate transit demand, existing transit performance, and system efficiency. The SCRTPA also provides supplemental funds to social service transportation providers through the Consolidated Transportation Services Agency (CTSA).
